Marking 21 years since the film's release, Khan took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to share the screen with his iconic father.
"25th November marked 21 years since JANASHEEN hit the screens. It feels surreal how fast time has flown," he wrote on Instagram. "This film will always hold a special place in my heart--the experience of sharing screen time with Khan Saab was unforgettable. It was more than an honor; it was a true blessing."
"Janasheen" wasn't just another project for Feroz Khan. For Fardeen, it served as a testament to his father's unwavering passion for filmmaking. "His dedication to every detail, every scene, and every note of music was nothing short of inspiring--not only for me but for everyone who worked alongside him," he shared. "Janasheen" also starred Celina Jaitly in a leading role, and Feroz Khan took on the dual roles of actor and director for this film.
Fardeen's career has experienced a remarkable resurgence in recent years. After a hiatus from the screen, he made a triumphant comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's acclaimed show "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar." In an interview, Fardeen described his return to the industry as both exciting and nerve-wracking. "A lot has changed in these 12 years...The level of films has changed. The way people consume cinema has changed... Today, there's completely a new generation so I feel like a newcomer," he shared.
"I feel fortunate that I got a chance to work with good people with this 'Heeramandi' show. I have two more pictures that will be released this year... I am really thankful to the audience have trusted me," he added.
Since then, Fardeen has appeared in several projects, including "Khel Khel Mein" alongside renowned actors Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and Ammy Virk. His film "Visfot" with Riteish Deshmukh also garnered attention earlier this year. He is currently gearing up for the release of "Housefull 5," promising fans more captivating performances.
